The Kenai River is the trophy fisherman's dream come true. Les Anderson caught the world record King Salmon on May 17th, 1985, weighing in at 97 pounds, 4 ounces. Boasting 9 of the top 12 world records Kings, there are many Kings caught in the seventy pound range every year. The average catch is 30-60 pounds.

Of all of the fishing to be done on the Kenai Peninsula, the Kasilof River is by far the most peaceful trip offered. This undeveloped river is fed by Tustamena Lake and located 13 miles South of the Kenai River in Soldotna. There are no motors allowed on the Kasilof River, providing for a tranquil float down one of Alaska's best kept secrets.

Here is it! The pride of the Kenai River. We target the middle portion of the Kenai River where the average fish is 18 inches, with 25-30 inch fish caught on almost a daily basis. This middle portion of the Kenai is known for it's massive King Salmon spawning grounds, which provide for ample amounts of food for the Native Rainbows to gorge their bellies. For the fisherman looking for his Rainbow trout of a lifetime, this trip is the trip for you. We tackle these monster Rainbows using fly rods, we are also equipped with spinning gear. For the fisherman that is reluctant to use a fly rod, rest assured, by the end of the day you will be casting and handling line like you have fly fished your entire life. This is my favorite time of year to fish the Kenai River. We see more wildlife this time of year, and on a daily basis you have the opportunity to break the 15 pound mark for a world class Rainbow Trout.

This Deep Creek halibut experience is a must do on your Alaskan Fishing trip. Less than a 45 minute drive from the Kenai River, the trip departs from Deep Creek boat ramp by tractor. Our Captain has been fishing these same waters for 22 years and is of the most experienced Captains available.

The Kenai Peninsula Silver Salmon season (August-October) is the time to fish for fishermen interested in constant action. The Silvers may be smaller but the limit is twice that of the King Salmon and catching full limits of these eager to bite fish is the norm.

Seward is located in the beautiful Resurrection Bay. The short 2 hour drive to Seward from our lodges offers an amazing scenic tour of the Chugach Mountains. This trip departs from J-Dock right in the town of Seward. Most clients choose to stay in a local hotel that offers a breath taking view of the Bay.

For the fisherman solely interested in catching massive amounts of salmon, we receive millions of Pink Salmon on every other year. These fish are not the Salmon you would want to take home with you, but catching 50 of them a day on light tackle is something everyone should experience.

In May and early June the Cook Inlet sees a series of negative "Low" tides that offer the ability to put on your waders and walk in search of a limit of clams. Directly between Homer and Kenai, the Cook Inlet tidal flats provide for an excellent way to spend an afternoon. Kids love getting dirty in search of a bucket full of clams. in the past, my clients have taken a day off from fishing King Salmon and headed down to Ninilchik to dig a few clams. We can vacuum pack your clams so you can take them home.
