Seward is located in the beautiful Resurrection Bay. The short 2 hour drive to Seward from our lodges offers an amazing scenic tour of the Chugach Mountains. This trip departs from J-Dock right in the town of Seward. Most clients choose to stay in a local hotel that offers a breath taking view of the Bay.

Our captain is known for bringing in the largest fish in Seward. The comfort of his Catamaran assures that the ride to the fishing grounds is smooth. This multi-species trip is of the finest trips offered to Belknap Fishing's clients. It is not uncommon to return with limits of Halibut, Yelloweye Rockfish, Black Bass, Lingcod, and Silver Salmon.

This is the only service we offer that can provide an overnight trip if booked early enough in advance. Overnight charters are convenient because it is not necessary to run the boat all the way back to Seward after your first day of a two day multi-species charter. My clients have found in the past that 2 days fishing, and one night in the remote (fully equipped) cabin on Evans Island is the preferred Seward fishing experience.

Once your trip is over, your captain and deckhand will fillet your fish as a part of the charter. After they fillet your catch, you can either choose to return to Soldotna/Kenai area to have your fish professionally vacuum packed, or it is possible to have your catch processed at J-Dock Seafood and shipped home.
